The SEA CON® line of Miniature Underwater Connectors, MINI-CON, were developed for the purpose of supplying the smallest diameter, highest density, highest pressure and finest quality electrical connectors. The MINI-CON Series Connectors of the miniaturized connector lines have been supplied to numerous naval programs and systems as well as to private industry; offshore oil related systems, ROV’s and others. Now, a smaller version of the MINI-CON Connector Series is available, and has been assigned the trade name Micro MINI-CON.
The Micro MINI-CON Connector Series was designed using over 30 years of applied experience in manufacturing the highest quality electrical connectors. We have taken the engineering concepts that have proven to be successful in the MINI-CON Series and incorporated them into this design.
The connectors range in sizes from 1/2” to just over a 2” diameter. They contain electrical contacts from 28 awg up to 10 awg, and Fiber Optic contacts for both single mode and multi mode. The standard range of Micro MINI-CON connectors consist of thirteen (13) shell sizes. At this time we have available G,K,L,M,O,Q,S and V. We anticipate adding shell sizes P,R,T,U, and W to the series in the very near future by priority of customer demand. The connectors have the option of right angles, over molding cable plug, field installing the cable using boots or terminating with a Pressure Balanced Oil-Filled (PBOF) System.
